Great news, Congleton! After lots of hard work, community input, and detailed planning, our Congleton Neighbourhood Plan has reached the next big milestone – Regulation 16.

That might sound a bit technical, but here’s what it means: Cheshire East Council is now running a six-week public consultation on the final version of our plan. This is your chance to have a look at the submission draft and share any final thoughts before it goes off for independent examination.

🗓 When is the consultation open?
From 6 October to 17 November 2025 (until 7pm)

📍 Where can I read the plan?
All the documents are available online here:

Prefer paper? No problem! You can request to view a hard copy if that’s easier.

💬 How can I have my say?
You can share your comments (known as “representations”) in a couple of ways:

  • By post:

This plan is all about shaping the future of Congleton — protecting what we love about our town while planning for the things we’ll need in years to come, like good homes, green spaces, and vibrant local facilities.

A huge thank you to everyone who’s already shared their ideas and feedback so far. Your voices have helped bring the plan this far — and now’s the final chance to make sure it truly reflects what we want for Congleton.

So grab a cuppa, take a look at the plan, and have your say before 17 November 2025. Every comment counts!
